How to pick one
Start with what the photo doesn’t already show. A beach photo says beach on its own, so use the caption for the part the camera missed, the heat, the smell of sunscreen, the argument about who forgot the towels. Put the strongest word first since Instagram truncates long captions after a line or two on most screens. Ask a question in the caption only if you’ll actually reply to the comments, otherwise leave it as a statement.
