Headline Analyzer for Social Posts — Free Tool
Check the headline of a social post: the first line, hook or title a reader sees before the “more” cutoff. Paste the post, pick a platform, and see whether the opening fits before the fold and how the rest of the post is structured, with every point explained.
This is heuristic guidance about structure — length, hook, spacing, tags, punctuation. It does not predict engagement, and no tool can. Every check below shows exactly what it added, so you can disagree with one and ignore it.

- Flags an opening that starts with a hashtag, mention or link

Frequently asked questions
What does this headline analyzer check?
It treats the first line of your post as its headline. Two of its ten checks are about that line: whether it fits before the platform cuts the post off behind “more”, and whether it opens with the idea rather than a hashtag, mention or link. The other eight look at the rest of the post, such as length, spacing, hashtags and emoji, so paste the whole post for a full score.
Does it score emotional or power words?
No, on purpose. Word-list scores only work in English and reward the same handful of words everyone else is using. This analyzer is structural: it measures length, placement and punctuation, which hold in any language. It will not tell you whether a headline is interesting, only whether it is visible and uncluttered.
Can I use it for blog or email headlines?
It is built for social posts, where the headline is the first line of a caption and the platform decides where it is cut off. For a blog title or an email subject line the “more” cutoff checks do not apply, so the score will not mean much there.
Will a high score make my post perform better?
Not by itself. The score is structural guidance, not a prediction. A headline that is fully visible and leads with the idea removes friction, but reach and engagement still depend on the idea, the media, your audience and timing.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The whole analysis runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged, and no account is needed.
