Frequently asked questions
How do I post a carousel on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn has no carousel post type as such. What people call a carousel is a document post: a PDF the feed renders as swipeable pages. Download the PDF here and attach it to a LinkedIn post as a document. To schedule it in BulkPublish instead, download the slides as PNGs and use the PDF carousel post type, which converts your images into the document for you.
How many slides can I add?
Up to 20, which is the cap BulkPublish applies to LinkedIn document carousels, so a deck built here can always be scheduled. Anything you type after the twentieth block is simply not rendered rather than cutting a slide in half.
What size should LinkedIn carousel slides be?
1080×1350 (4:5) is the tallest ratio the LinkedIn feed shows at full width, so it takes the most screen space; 1080×1080 (1:1) is the safe alternative. Both are offered here. Every page in one PDF must be the same size, so the whole deck is rendered at whichever you pick.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Slides are drawn on a canvas in your browser and the PDF is assembled there too, byte by byte. There is no network request, no account and no storage. Close the tab and nothing remains.
Can I use the same slides on Instagram?
Yes. The PNG export gives you one image per slide at the size you picked, and 1080×1350 and 1080×1080 are Instagram carousel sizes as well. There is an Instagram version of this tool that leads with the PNG export instead of the PDF.
