Attitude captions live or die on length. The longer the line, the more it sounds like you are explaining yourself, which is the opposite of attitude. The best ones are five to nine words and do not justify anything.
Instagram shows about two lines before folding the rest, and an attitude caption should never need the second line anyway. If you have written a paragraph, the good sentence is in there somewhere, so keep that and delete the rest.

How to pick one
Match the caption to what the photo already says instead of restating it. If you are in a suit on a rooftop, the picture has handled confident, so the caption should add something dry or unexpected rather than saying confident again. Front-load the strong word: “Earned, not given” hits harder than “Everything here was earned and not given to me.” Cut every qualifier you can find, because “kind of,” “honestly,” and “I guess” all leak the attitude out of a line. Do not ask a question unless you plan to answer the comments, since an attitude question tends to attract arguments. And keep punctuation flat.
