Native scheduling
X’s own composer has a scheduling option, and its advertising help documents scheduling posts inside an ads account up to a year ahead. We could not find a page on X that states one window for the ordinary composer, and third-party guides disagree on it, so we are not quoting a number. The date picker will tell you what your account allows.
What native scheduling does not give you is a view across other networks.
What a tool can publish
Through BulkPublish, X posts are 280 characters, with up to 4 images of 5 MB each (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP) or one video up to 512 MB and 140 seconds (MP4 or MOV).
The video duration is the limit that catches cross-posters. The size allowance is generous but the length is short, so a clip that is fine for YouTube or Tumblr is rejected here on duration.
Why X costs more
X charges for API access in a way most networks do not, so every post a tool publishes has a real cost to whoever runs it. That is why X is handled separately across the whole category: its own tiers, credit systems or exclusion from cheaper plans.
