The reason people shop around is usually the pricing shape rather than the product: the cheapest plan, Starter, is $59/mo, it caps at 7 social accounts and 1 seat, bulk scheduling does not appear until the $199/mo Business tier, and there is no free plan on the current pricing page. Decide which half you need
Simplified is two products in a trench coat. Before switching, work out which half you use:
- The creative half: AI images, video, subtitles, brand kits, designs.
- The publishing half: calendar, scheduling, inbox, analytics.
Very few teams need both from one vendor, and paying $59/mo for the half you do not use is the most common reason people leave.
1. Predis.ai, if the AI creative was the point
Predis.ai generates finished creatives, videos and carousels included, and then publishes them to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X and Google Business Profile. Its Core plan is currently $24/mo, discounted from a $32 list price. That is a third of Simplified’s entry price for a narrower but more focused job.
- Best for: Small brands that want AI to make the assets, not just the captions
- Limitation: Channel counts and AI credits are both capped per tier, and there is no free plan

2. Ocoya, cheaper AI plus scheduling
Ocoya covers similar ground at $15/mo on the Bronze plan with a 7-day free trial: AI copy, template design, and publishing to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Pinterest, plus Threads, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Google Business Profile, Discord, Telegram and Slack in beta.
- Best for: Small ecommerce brands on a budget
- Limitation: Much of the network list is still labelled beta

3. Canva plus a scheduler, if design was the point
If you were using Simplified mainly to make things, Canva is the better design tool and its Content Planner can schedule to Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Tumblr, one platform per design. Scheduling requires a paid Canva seat; check Canva’s pricing page for the current rate. 4. Blotato, for high-volume AI output

- Limitation: Credit-based AI pricing has its own ceilings
5. FeedHive, for AI with automation rules
FeedHive is AI-forward but publishing-first, with conditional posting rules and multi-workspace support on every plan. It is a better fit if you want the AI to assist a real publishing workflow rather than replace it.
- Best for: Teams that want generation plus rules
- Limitation: Scheduling window is capped on the entry tier
6. SocialBu, if you just want the scheduler
If the AI turned out to be a nice-to-have, SocialBu covers 12 networks, including Reddit, Mastodon and Bluesky, with automation rules, at $29/mo or $22/mo billed annually and a 7-day trial. That is roughly a third of Simplified’s price for the publishing half alone.
- Best for: People who bought an AI suite and only used the calendar
- Limitation: Free plan is 10 lifetime posts

7. Postly, if seats were the constraint
Simplified’s Starter plan is one seat, and more seats mean a tier jump. Postly’s Pro plan is $16/mo billed yearly for 5 channels and includes unlimited team members and workspaces. Different trade: less AI, no seat maths.
- Best for: Small teams where headcount, not features, drove the bill
- Limitation: No free plan, and API access costs extra

And if you were quietly using nothing but the calendar, almost any dedicated scheduler will cost you a fraction as much.
