Frequently asked questions
How is conversion rate calculated?
Conversions ÷ clicks × 100. If 96 of 4,200 clicks converted, the rate is 2.29%. Use whichever denominator matches the decision you are making — clicks for an ad, sessions for a landing page, visitors for a whole site.
What is a good conversion rate?
It depends entirely on the offer and the traffic. Ecommerce commonly lands between 1% and 4%; a lead form on warm traffic can be well into double digits. The useful comparison is your own rate over time, or two variants against each other, not an industry average from a blog post.
Why does revenue per click matter?
Because a high conversion rate on cheap conversions can be worth less than a low rate on valuable ones. Revenue per click puts different sources on one scale and tells you the most you can afford to pay for a click.
Do I have to enter revenue?
No. Leave it blank and you get the conversion rate on its own. Add it and the two revenue figures appear as well.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Every calculation happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or logged, and no account is required.
