What the native scheduler does
Click the clock icon in the post composer, pick a date and time, and the post publishes itself. You can see everything queued from the scheduler pop-up, and you can edit a scheduled post or move it to another time before it goes out. Not every platform allows that.
The time zone catch
Scheduled times are standardised in UTC. On desktop that is based on your device’s time zone. On mobile it is relative to your current location.
In practice: schedule from a laptop at home, then travel, and a mobile edit follows where you are rather than where you were. If you work across time zones, read the time back before you confirm.
Profiles versus Pages
Posting as yourself and posting as a company Page are separate things on LinkedIn, with separate help documentation. If you manage a Page, read the Pages-specific help rather than assuming the personal flow is identical.
Where the answer becomes “yes, but”
The native scheduler only knows LinkedIn. Three cases where that matters:
- The same post goes elsewhere. LinkedIn, X and Bluesky means three composers and three queues.
- You want one calendar. LinkedIn shows you LinkedIn’s queue, not what else is going out that week.
- The post starts somewhere else. A CMS, a spreadsheet or an AI agent cannot use LinkedIn’s composer.
