BulkPublish social media publisher and scheduler for AI agents

The Social Media API for AI Agents in 2026 [Updated Guide]

BulkPublish is a social media API for AI agents. An agent that can write a post still has to get it onto a network, and every network has its own API, its own sign-in and its own rules about what a post is. BulkPublish gives an agent one place to do it: a hosted MCP server for assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and a REST API for agents you write yourself. Every post is checked against its network before it is queued, so an agent gets an error it can act on rather than a post that silently never appeared.

Updated October 2026. The limits, post types and integrations below are read from the app itself every time this site is built.

The networks this audience uses most

These are the networks this page is about, with what BulkPublish can publish to each and the caption length it checks before a post is queued. Every one has a guide of its own.

Network What you can post Caption limit
X / Twitter Tweet 280 characters
LinkedIn Post, Gallery, PDF Carousel, and Article 3,000 characters
Bluesky Post 300 characters
Threads Text, Image, Video, and Carousel 500 characters
Mastodon Post 500 characters

That is where this kind of work usually goes, but it is not the limit. BulkPublish publishes to 15 networks in total, and one post can go to every one you have connected in the same click. The rest are:

What this workflow needs

What an agent can do through BulkPublish:

  • REST API and SDKs. Everything the app does is available from your own code, with the same checks the app runs before a post is queued.
  • Bulk publishing. Paste or upload a batch and the whole set is created at once, each post checked against its own network before it is queued.
  • Recurring schedules. Set a slot once, daily, weekly or monthly, and posts go out on it without anybody opening the app that morning.
  • Analytics in one place. Every published post is checked for its numbers, so all your networks sit in one dashboard instead of one browser tab each.

Working with AI agents

This whole page is about that, so the short version: connect an assistant once over OAuth, and it can see your channels, draft, queue, publish and read the numbers back.

BulkPublish runs a hosted MCP server, so an AI assistant can do this work with you instead of you copying its answer into another tab. It exposes 20 tools over OAuth: an agent can see your channels, draft a post, put it in the queue, publish it and read the numbers back afterwards. Nothing to install, no API key to paste.

Every assistant we support has a setup guide of its own.

Tools worth connecting

BulkPublish already talks to these, and each one has a setup guide.

Getting started

  1. Create an account. The free plan does not ask for a card.
  2. Connect the channels in the table above. Each one is a normal sign-in on that network’s own site, and you can disconnect it whenever you like.
  3. Set the slots you want to post on, or bring a batch in and give each post its own time.
  4. Look at the queue the next morning. Anything a network refused says so in that network’s own words, and can be sent again.

Common questions

Which assistants can use it?

Any assistant that supports MCP, including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Each has a setup guide, and the hosted server needs no install and no key to paste.

Can my own agent use it without MCP?

Yes. The REST API does everything the app does, with an API key, and there are Node and Python SDKs.

Can an agent publish without a human checking?

It can, if you let it. You can also have it only draft and queue, and publish yourself from the app.

What happens when a network rejects an agent’s post?

The post is marked failed with the network’s own reason on it, which an agent can read and act on, and it can be retried.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, and it does not ask for a card. The pricing page lists what each plan connects and how much it posts.

Can an AI assistant post for me?

Yes. The hosted MCP server lets an assistant draft, schedule, publish and read your analytics over OAuth, with nothing to install and no key to paste.

Still stuck? The Help Center walks through it step by step.

BulkPublish has a page for each of these too.
