Social Media Analytics in 2026 [Updated Guide]

How analytics works
The numbers come from each platform’s own API, which means the honest version of this section has a caveat in it: what is available differs by network, because the networks differ in what they report. Nothing here is modelled or estimated to fill a gap.
- Publish through BulkPublish. Analytics are collected for posts it published, because that is what it can ask the platform about.
- Open the dashboard and choose a date range.
- Filter to one channel, one network or one label to compare like with like.
- Read the top-performing posts for the range, and open any of them to see the post it refers to.

What each plan is allowed
Analytics is not metered. Every plan gets it for every channel it can connect, which is why this page has no allowance table.

Which metrics are available?
Impressions, likes, comments and shares from the networks that report them. What each network exposes differs, and BulkPublish shows what the platform returns rather than filling gaps with estimates.
Do I get analytics on the free plan?
Yes. Analytics is not metered by plan, so it covers every channel your plan lets you connect.
Can I see analytics for posts I did not publish through BulkPublish?
Generally no. Per-post metrics are read against the post the platform knows BulkPublish published, so posts made elsewhere are outside what it can ask for.
How often do the numbers update?
Published posts are re-checked on a schedule after publishing, so a post’s figures fill in over the hours and days after it goes out rather than all at once.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and it does not ask for a card. The table above shows what the free plan is allowed for this capability, and the pricing page lists the rest.
