Social Media Link Tracking in 2026

Every network tells you how many people saw a post. Almost none tell you how many went where the post was pointing. Link tracking closes that gap: links in your posts are shortened to bulkpubli.sh, and the clicks come back grouped by post, by network and by destination, so you can see which of two captions actually sent people to the page.

How link tracking works

It is off until you turn it on, and it stays off for any post you say so. Rewriting your links changes what your audience sees, so it is never switched on for you. Once it is on, links in new posts are shortened as they are scheduled, and the totals appear alongside the rest of your analytics.

What each plan is allowed

Nothing about link tracking is metered. There is no cap on links, no cap on clicks, and no plan on which it is unavailable, which is why there is no allowance table on this page. It is a setting rather than a quota.

Common questions

Do I have to use shortened links?

No. Link tracking is off until you turn it on, and once on you can still switch it off for an individual post. Your original addresses are used whenever it is off.

How quickly do click totals update?

Every fifteen minutes. A click is not visible the second it happens, which is worth knowing before you refresh the page straight after posting.

Are bots counted as clicks?

No. Link previews fetched by the networks, and the usual crawlers, are recognised and left out, so the number is closer to people than a raw hit count would be.

Can campaign tags be added automatically?

Yes. Source, medium and campaign tags can be appended to the destination before the link is shortened, so the visit also shows up in your own analytics.

Does link tracking cost anything?

No. It is on every plan and nothing about it is metered.

Is there a free plan?

Yes, and it does not ask for a card. The table above shows what the free plan is allowed for this capability, and the pricing page lists the rest.
