Social Media Client Review in 2026 [Updated Guide]
Getting a client to look at what is scheduled usually means a screenshot, or an account you have to create for them. A review link is neither. It is a private page for one post, a batch of posts, or a whole upcoming schedule, and the client opens it in a browser with no account, login or password.
Updated October 2026. The plan allowances and networks below are read from the app itself every time this site is built.
How client review links work
The page shows each post's text, its media, and the networks and accounts it is going to. If the post is scheduled, the page shows when, and it always shows the current version: edit the post afterwards and the same link reflects the edit, so there is never a stale copy floating around in someone's inbox.
- Pick a single post, a batch of posts, or a whole upcoming schedule to share.
- Generate the link and send it to the client. No account or password is needed on their end.
- The client opens it in a browser and sees the text, media, networks and timing for what you shared.
- Edit a post and the same link shows the edit. Regenerate or revoke a single post's link, or delete a batch link, when you want the old address to stop working.
Networks this works on
This capability is not limited to a subset. It works the same way on all 15 networks BulkPublish publishes to, and each one has a guide of its own.
What each plan is allowed
Client review links are part of client collaboration, which is on the Pro and Business plans. Free and Lifetime are single-seat plans and do not include it. Review links are also available over the API.
| Allowance | Free | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Client review and connect links | No | Yes | Yes |
These are the figures the app enforces, not a summary of them. The pricing page lists what each plan costs and everything else it includes.
Working with AI agents
An assistant connected to BulkPublish can generate a review link for a post, a batch, or a schedule and hand you the address to send on.
BulkPublish runs a hosted MCP server, so an AI assistant can do this work with you instead of you copying its answer into another tab. It exposes 20 tools over OAuth: an agent can see your channels, draft a post, put it in the queue, publish it and read the numbers back afterwards. Nothing to install, no API key to paste.
Tools worth connecting
BulkPublish already talks to these, and each one has a setup guide.
Free tools for this job
These run in your browser with no account, and they do one piece of this work on their own. Useful before you sign up, and still useful after.
Common questions
Does the client need an account to view a review link?
No. The link opens in a browser with no account, login or password required.
Can a client comment, approve or edit through the link?
No. It is read-only, a way to show work rather than an approval gate. Holding posts until someone signs off is the separate Approvals feature inside the app.
What happens if I edit a post after sharing its link?
The link always shows the current version. Editing the post updates what the client sees at the same address.
Are review links available on every plan?
No. They are part of client collaboration on the Pro and Business plans. Free and Lifetime are single-seat plans and do not include client collaboration.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and it does not ask for a card. The table above shows what the free plan is allowed for this capability, and the pricing page lists the rest.
Can an AI assistant do this for me?
Yes. The hosted MCP server lets an assistant draft, schedule, publish and read your analytics over OAuth, with nothing to install and no key to paste.
Still stuck? The Help Center walks through it step by step.
