Recurring Social Media Posts in 2026 [Updated Guide]
Some posts are not a one-off. The weekly opening hours, the Friday roundup, the monthly reminder that the newsletter exists. A recurring schedule is that post set up once with a frequency, a time of day and a set of channels, after which it goes out on its own until you stop it.

How recurring posts work
A recurring schedule is a template plus a cadence, not a copy of a post. It creates a real post each time it fires, which is why the result appears in the calendar and the analytics exactly like anything else you published.
- Create a schedule and choose its frequency: daily, weekly on a given day, or monthly on a given date.
- Set the time of day and the channels it publishes to.
- Write the content the schedule publishes each time it runs.
- Leave it. Each run creates a normal post, which appears in the calendar and is checked against its networks like any other.

Can I stop one without deleting the posts it already made?
