Notion BulkPublish

Publish to social media from Notion

Keep your content calendar in Notion and let it publish itself. Connect a database to BulkPublish, set a row’s Status to Ready, and the post goes out to your channels, now or at its Schedule date, with Posted and a link to each post written back to the row.

Notion integration for BulkPublish

What Notion can do

For each row, the connection does what these 5 operations do, sorted below into 3 areas. It runs inside BulkPublish, so a row gets the same checks, limits and approvals as a post written in the app.

Where the posts go

Whatever Notion schedules can go to any of these 15 networks, to one account or to all of them at once. Each one links to its own page with its limits and post types.

Setting up Notion

A workspace owner or admin connects Notion once from Publish from Notion in BulkPublish and picks which databases it may see. The content calendar template comes with every column in place; for a database of your own, Set up database adds the missing columns without changing the ones you have.

  1. Create a BulkPublish account and connect the channels you want to publish to. The free plan connects three channels and does not ask for a card.
  2. In BulkPublish, open Publish from Notion in the Compose menu and choose Connect Notion. A workspace owner or admin does this once.
  3. Notion asks which pages BulkPublish may see. Pick the database you plan posts in, or choose the content calendar template to get a ready-made one.
  4. Back in BulkPublish, add the database. If columns are missing, Set up database adds them without changing the ones you already have.
  5. Fill in a row and set its Status to Ready. Within about a minute it shows Posting, then Posted with a link to each post.

Ways teams use this

Made for teams that plan in Notion and want drafting, review and tracking in one place. Request Approval holds a row for a teammate, Discord Channel and Link Tracking set options per row, and rows are posted as the person who connected Notion, with their role, so your approval rules still apply.

  • Bulk upload a month of posts in one pass, then let the queue send them out at the times you set.
  • Write once and cross-post everywhere. One post, adapted per network, goes to every connected channel together.
  • Turn a blog or podcast RSS feed into automatic posts the moment a new item appears.
  • Read the numbers back. Impressions, engagement and link clicks come back the same way the posts went out.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually want to know before they connect Notion.

What does the Notion connection do?

It publishes rows from a Notion database. Each row is one post: a caption, the channels, optional media and an optional schedule date. Set its Status to Ready and it goes out now or at its date, or waits for a teammate if Request Approval is ticked.

Which networks can it publish to?

All 15 of them. The Channels column takes a platform name for every account on that platform, a single account, or a channel set.

How does it sign in?

With Notion’s own sign-in, not an API key. You approve the connection in Notion and choose which pages it may see. Remove it any time under Connections in Notion’s settings.

Does Notion have to stay open for a post to go out?

No. We check for Ready rows every minute, so a row goes out whether Notion is open or not.

Can a row be posted twice?

Not by itself. If sending a row is interrupted, it is marked Failed with a note to check the post before setting it to Ready again.

Is it free?

Yes. It works on every plan, including the free one. Rows count against your plan exactly like posts written in the app.

Still stuck? The Help Center walks through it step by step.
